Yet another batch of spam from Espoo’s gift to the world, my favourite sp4mm3r boi and his mentor. Cooperating with Pakistani players and OVH. Missing the legally required information on how to opt out, as well as what the file of personal data is and who is the controller.
My favourite spammer boi and his trusty sidekick are at it again, advertising the services of the latter’s business, Getwin Oy (www, biz reg) via spam to the usual crapola of addresses, including ones that have already opted out >18 months earlier. Unusually, I’m only munging the links that could be clicked to “remove” this address from the spam below.
Being their usual smart selves, they registered microsoftemail.net to spam with. Let’s put it this way: stepping on the shoes of the giant in Redmond is not a smart move. At the very least, this has the makings of a UDRP case, but being done in a manner that makes it look like MS were involved in their spamming, I’d say the spammers are hoping to have a new one ripped.
Getwin Oy (www, biz reg), a business partner of Tavoite Media / Lateralus Enterprise, is spamming (again, or still, whichever).
A little bird sang last week that Tavoite Media’s Bangladeshi resources had been termed. So now they’ve gone looking for more in Jordan. Of course there is nothing here to indicate that Tavoite Media is involved, but just how likely is it that Getwin have bothered to find a new partner in spam whose M.O. is exactly the same as that of the old one?
According to a change on November 1, 2012 to its information in the Finnish Business Information System, Lateralus Enterprise is now resident at Valliniemenkatu 6 F 59, 48900 KOTKA. This 30 m² property was recently for rent. The ownership of the telephone number 040-594 0756 indicates the corresponding change, although Fonecta Finder hasn’t noticed yet that Lateralus Enterprise would have moved from Sokinsuontie 7 A 22, 02760 ESPOO. Even Tavoite Media‘s own web pages still display the old address. What’s more, it indicates another person as definitely having to do with Tavoite Media. So he’s not just a misguided customer, but an actual partner in spam. Thanks for confirming, dudes. BTW. If you list a portfolio of customers and three of the eleven are you yourselves, isn’t that kind of sad? (Getwin Oy, BisnesRekisteri.com, and Trendikauppa.fi.)
A young man from Espoo, Finland, a private person carrying on trade under the primary name Lateralus Enterprise d/b/a Tavoite Media, who objects to being named here and has enlisted the help of the Data Protection Ombudsman’s Office to have his name stricken from this blog, is spamming to offer his e-marketing consultation services. I’ve seen his spam at my own business starting August 2011; apparently he’s managed to listwash my business (easy enough) but unfortunately for him, my ancient spamtraps contain some addresses that are in the Finnish Business Information System too, so I get his spam this way.
