MainSleaze

A-Paino (www (conveniently images only), biz reg), a local printing house and a d/b/a of Gennadi Kovalenko, is hoping to drum up new business by spamming. They started in late November 2012 as far as I can tell.

There appears to be a new SSP (Spam Service Provider) in town. Or it could be another d/b/a of Gennadi Kovalenko, or it could be another d/b/a of another young Finnish man of Russian descent, who knows. yrityksille.info (obfuscated dom reg; no web page available) certainly has the air of something that is the opposite of “medial” about it.

The spam doesn’t say what the address source is.  Given that they targeted a firstname.lastname@domain.example address, I’d say they’re processing personal information and need to announce their register in accordance with Section 25 of the Personal Data Act. But then again processing outdated and erroneous personal data is against Section 9 Paragraph 2 of the same Act, so I doubt they care. And of course they’re spamming natural persons in violation of Section 26 of the Act on the Protection of Privacy in Electronic Communications, although they’re trying to claim (even with the domain name itself) that this is strictly B2B only.
