This issue has been resolved. The blog remains posted because blogs shouldn’t disappear, to make sure that Google and other search engines and archives get the update, and in hopes that other people can learn something from it and the comments. 🙂

The 360 Advocacy Institute, which offers training and support for personal injury attorneys, is sending bulk email to an email address that was closed in 2007. This email address was in timeout from 2008 through early 2010, and then was re-enabled as a spamtrap. It has not received email from the 360 Advocacy Institute since before it was in timeout. (According to the Whois record, the domain 360advocacy.com was only created in 2007.) So why is this spamtrap suddenly getting bulk email from the 360 Advocacy Institute? The ESP is IContact.
