BrightTALK: Advertising Web Conferencing Services to a Spamtrap

BrightTALK(tm), a video and web conferencing service based in the U.K., is sending bulk email to an email address that closed in 2007. The ESP is SilverPop.

As is the case with all of my spamtraps, this email address rejected email with a 500-level rejection notice at SMTP time for over twelve consecutive months before being re-enabled and added to my spamtrap collection. BrightTALK has not previously contacted this email address since it was re-enabled. Either BrightTALK is emailing an email list that it has not contacted for over four years, or BrightTALK purchased a list.
