Coast to Coast Career Fairs: Spamming E-Pended Lists for Job Fair?

Several weeks ago I blogged about spam from Coast to Coast Career Fairs LLC, an organization that sets up and runs career fairs in cities across the United States, to a spamtrap that never existed at all. Since then, the spam has continued. Subsequent spams from this sender showed that they have a name assigned to this spamtrap address, a name that has no connection to the email address in question since that email address has never been valid. This is a strong sign that Coast to Coast Career Fairs is using a purchased e-pended list. Their ESP is StreamSend, part of Web development and hosting firm EZ Publishing.

Callbox Sales and Marketing Solutions

I didn’t receive this one myself. Instead, I noticed it on the Spamhaus Blocklist “Lastest SBL Changes” page.

Looks like a company called “Callbox Sales and Marketing Solutions” is trolling for B2B leads and it attracted the attention of Spamhaus, who has now listed the source IP on their SBL. The ESP is Streamsend.

Property Hub Realtors: Spamming a Long-Closed Email Address

Property Hub Realtors, a New Jersey based real estate and realtor services firm, is sending bulk email to an email address that has not belonged to anybody for many years, if it ever did. For a period of fourteen months, this email address rejected all email at SMTP time. The ESP is StreamSend.

Coast to Coast Career Fairs: Hiring Spamtraps?

Apparently Coast to Coast Career Fairs LLC, an organization that sets up and runs career fairs in cities across the United States, wants spamtraps to attend their San Diego Job Fair. They spammed an email address at a domain that has never had a valid email address in its history via ESP StreamSend, part of Web development and hosting firm EZ Publishing.

NOTE: Streamsend’s bulk emails are normally sent from the domain mailengine1.com. Tagged URLs in their emails use the domain streamsend.com.
