PepID – a system for generating, hosting and expressing peptide libraries

The development of analytical tools for detecting bacterial and viral agents as well as the matching vaccines requires a profound knowledge of the pathogen itself and of the immune processes in the host. Deciphering the genomes of numerous microorganisms and viruses as well as parallel intensive research into the mammalian immune system significantly contributed to understanding the complex, diverse immune processes in the healthy and sick organism.
