Estonian spammers targeting Finland: Martin Anderson / All-Tec Services OÜ

I’ve only just received a spam from [85.222.235.134] to an address that has to be harvested from the web pages of the company. I did a little looking up and it turns out that the spammer is Martin Anderson, of the Estonian company All-Tec Services OÜ, who is already familiar to the local spamhound.

Verizon: Spamming an Email Appended List

Verizon, one of the largest telecommunication companies in America, has sent email to several of my spamtraps in the past few weeks. These emails solicit the business of companies that are not associated with those spamtraps, but whose company names might plausibly belong to the email addresses that received the spam. No ESP was involved; Verizon sent this email from their own IPs.

Neptura Oy, Credo power Oy, Reality Interactive Oy, Axion Suomi, Rapid Investment Ltd, Spamming, Fraud, And Who Knows What Else

Since a few months earlier, a few interconnected Finnish businesses have been spamming a list that isn’t documented (but is clearly based on Finnish Business Information System data) with messages regarding “your [mobile, Internet, whatever] subscription update” (original Finnish: Liittymäpäivityksestänne) or “Contact” (original Finnish: Yhteydenotto).

HansaLeads: yet another new Finnish B2B spammer (NOT RESOLVED!)

HansaLeads Oy is using Rackspace’s Mailgun arm to send out Finnish B2B spam suggesting that recipients purchase B2B spamming services from them. That’s so ’90’s.

Pulse.ng: Spamming Purchased or Email Appended Lists

Nigerian tabloid site Pulse.ng has been emailing over 100 of my spamtraps daily for months. Enough of the spamtraps are pristine spamtraps that they must have purchased a list or hired an email appender. (Unless they scraped the list themselves, no other explanation makes sense.) Their ESP is EMarSys.

Scaevola Oy: New Finnish B2B spammer

Scaevola Oy (www, biz reg, responsible persons, d/b/a Lindenleaf, which is the English translation of the surname of the owner, Heikki Lehmuslehti) has entered the Finnish B2B spam field with a spam that was sent to addresses harvested from HTML comments on websites.

sahkopostitus.com (WebSiteRace Oy): Finland’s latest spam for hire

We’ve recently seen spam advertising the spamming and spam list sale services of sahkopostitus.com, apparently operated by WebSiteRace Oy. It’s funny because they specifically claim knowledge of (but not adherence to, I suppose) of the legislation relevant to the issue at hand.
